The agricultural cooperative Sternas Messinian was founded about 30 years ago. Our agricultural cooperative are connected about 630 farmers. For our farmers your olive groves are the livelihood of the existence of your family . Olive trees need time to grow , the fruits take time to mature. Our olive oil farmers spend a lot of time to care for and harvest their trees . Only by skilled personnel continuity and care of trees can be high-quality olive oil. This knowledge , farmers have learned from your fathers, and will pass it on to their children . Simply put, with the passion for the care of olive trees and olive oil quality , this knowledge and decades of growing, long continuity of care and processing have led to our extra virgin olive oil, first grade Sterna Messinia , with a very low acid value can hold from 0.1-0.5 % each compared with other top olive oils.
